Our Mission

Turbeville Children's Home provides a home for children who, for whatever reason are unable to live with their parents in a regular home setting. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow. Our team of caregivers is committed to supporting the unique needs of each child and helping them build a brighter future. At Turbeville Children's Home, we believe in the power of community and welcome your support in making a positive impact on the lives of these children.

Our History:

Since opening, TCH has had to adjust and adapt its programs to ensure that we are effectively meeting the ever-changing needs of the populations we serve. We have cared for over 250 children between the ages of 7 to 20 from all of the 46 counties across South Carolina. Some awesome things that we have accomplished include:

Tim Moore

Tim has spent over 37 years in institutional ministry as a Houseparent, Social Worker at Falcon Children's Home, Dean of Students at Southwestern Christian University, 22 years as a Navy Chaplain, and now Director of TCH. He is the proud father of four adult children and married for 37 years to his lovely wife, Pam.

Al Hill MA, LPC

Al serves as our Foster Care Coordinator, conducts training, counseling, and promotes the Children’s home within the community. His background is in trauma, Children’s advocacy, and marriage and family therapy.

Case Manager

Pam Moore

Pam brings with her unique and relevant experiences to this position. She was a Houseparent at Falcon Children’s Home for 5 years, a Case Manager for Turbeville Children's Home for over 2 years, and personally knows the challenges of being a foster child. She is the wife of Director Tim Moore and has served in several helping organizations throughout their 22-year military career serving Sailors and Marines through the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society as a Case Manager.

Christy Prince

Before joining Turbeville Children’s Home, Christy worked in the District Attorney’s Office with crime victims of her hometown, Cartersville, GA. Her dedication to assisting individuals in need complemented her 10 years of experience in Victim Advocacy.  She is furthering her education to help children and adults who have experienced trauma.  She is the mother of three sons, and two daughters, and “CiCi” to two granddaughters.
